Jin v Knox Property Investment Ltd [2016] NZCA 565
Our client was an equal shareholder with another party in a company engaged in real estate investment. Both parties contributed towards the purchase of a house and the company was identified as the purchaser on the agreement. Our client was not aware that his business party joined with another party to incorporate a different company to complete the purchase.
We successfully argued for the High Court judgment rejecting our client’s application to sustain the caveat to be set aside and for the matter to be determined on appeal.
